A Male boudoir photographer?
Ah yes the elephant in the room. You will either be unsure about a male boudoir photographer or prefer it. One thing is for sure I will capture images you will enjoy and I guarantee a professional, completely comfortable, relaxed and fun atmosphere. If you feel you would rather a female boudoir photographer, pop me a message anyway and I will recommend a few to you for a session. I have no idea how to pose or look sexy, what do I do?
You are not alone. Very few people come into the session fully confident in this. This is where I come in, I will be guiding you throughout the whole process, from posing, breathing and keeping it all fun. Hell i’ll be hopping into poses to show you what I mean, that’s guaranteed a laugh!
What will I wear?
Whatever you feel beautiful in of course!
Seriously though you probably have plenty of things already in your closet, like a button up shirt, over-sized sweater, tank tops, matching lingerie sets, bodysuits. Lingerie is always popular and many woman also choose to shoot completely nude or implied nude. We will have time to shoot 3-4 outfits but i recommend bringing a selection to choose from on the day. Don’t worry though when you book your session I will send over a detailed guide to help with wardrobe selections.
What if I don’t want my images shared on your website, instagram etc?
Privacy is very important to me and your images will only be shared if you say it is okay to do so. If you don’t wish them to be shared that’s completely fine. Naturally I’d love to share them so other woman can get an idea of what the experience looks like.
What should I do to prepare for my shoot?
When you book your session I will send you a detailed guide on preparing for your session, this will cover things like waxing/shaving, nails, tanning and more to help get you ready for your boudoir shoot.
Will you photoshop my images?
Yes! I use photoshop mainly to remove things that won’t be there in a week or two, like cuts, bruises and blemishes. I want you to still look like you so I don’t over edit. With posing and lighting I can flatter your specific body type, no matter your curves or age.
Do you offer hair and makeup with the session?
Absolutely! Hair and makeup is an integral part of your experience. This gives you a chance to sit back, relax and chat with us before your shoot.
Where will my photoshoot take place?
Currently sessions take place at a hotel or your home. I can assist with choosing a hotel or if you know one you love we can go with your choice.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes of course! Feel free to bring a friend with you to hype you up.
My anniversary/wedding/partner’s birthday is coming up and I want to have a gift for him/her by then! How far ahead should I book?
As early as possible! I am often booking out weeks in advance and products can take upto 5 weeks to be delivered depending on the time of year. So book as early as you can to ensure your gift is ready on time.
How long does the experience last?
This day is all about you, so set aside plenty of time for the experience. Hair and makeup will typically take 1-2 hours and the shoot will take around 2 hours.
When will I get to see my photos?
Within 2 weeks I will have images ready to view for you. This will allow us to view and select images for albums/wall art, after which I will finalise the finishing touches on editing.
What is included in the session fee?
The session fee includes an on location photoshoot with me, professional hair and makeup, retouching of your images.
When will I receive my album or wall art?
Depending on what products you order, they will be delivered in 3-5 weeks of your order being placed.
